September 2014 Newsletter (Part 2)
In the prior One World Feng Shui Newsletter “How To Achieve Academic Success – Part 1” you received 4 valuable Feng Shui tips to properly orient the bed and desk, get good lighting and protect yourself or the student in your life from EMFs. Here are 6 additional tips to better academic results:
Back to school tip #5
One of the most difficult parts is often to keep the bedroom and study area free of clutter. Although it is not necessary to have both areas pristine clean nor minimalist, it is best to limit the amount of clutter so that the Qi can flow freely. Blocked energy may make the student procrastinate, feel tired, overwhelmed, even depressed.
Back to school tip #6
No fish tank in the bedroom it could make you feel unstable and destabilized.
Back to school tip #7
Avoid artwork depicting dark, violent, sad scenes and instead use artwork that encourages interest and creativity.
Back to school tip #8
A bright, airy, well-ventilated room renews and raises the energy level. So, go ahead, open the window, and let fresh air and sunlight in.
Back to school tip #9
Healthy, round or curved leaf plants help remove or minimize negative chi and bring vitality and growth energy.
Back to school tip #10
What students eat or don’t eat matters and makes a big difference in their overall growth and physical and intellectual development.
GENYouth Foundation reports that studies show that “students with low nutrient intake […] have more psychological problems and higher rates of absenteeism and tardiness than students with higher nutrient intakes.”
Back to school tip #11
Physical activity plays a great role into health and academic performance. Here too, GENYouth Foundation reports that studies show that “students who were more active during school and on weekends preformed better on standardized tests for reading, math and spelling.”
A bedroom with good energy, harmony and balance promotes greater success in school and creates happier people more inclined to do better in school.
Wishing you and the students in your life good Qi for the school year!
