Buying a first home or a new one can be an exciting and somewhat scary process. Fear no more! You already know when a place feels good or bad, how it looks, how it smells. So trust yourself and apply these basic Feng Shui principles to help you make a good investment:
• Avoid cul-de-sac and T-junction.
• Avoid a home close to a railroad or freeway.
• Avoid a home next to a hospital, police station or church.
• Avoid sloping land in the back of your home.
• Make sure your house receives good energy and enough sunlight.
• Make sure strong positive Qi comes to your front door and that nothing such as tree, lamppost, storage boxes or piled up shoes, blocks it.
• Make sure that the 3 most important rooms: kitchen, bedroom and bathroom are well located.
• And most importantly, make sure the front door faces one of your 4 positive directions. First, find your gua number and then your directions.
A house with good Feng Shui will assure you prosperity, good health and happiness. However, as someone told me once, there is no perfect house as there is no perfect partner. Some are (much) better than others, that’s all.
